5- Validate server as well as client side

Make sure that you are doing both of these two: Server side validation and Client side Validation. When you are validating the browser side, you will be able to detect basic errors such as compulsory fields that are left blank and when special characters have been keyed into an alphabet only field. By validating both sides of the server, you will get to know if any SQL or malicious JavaScript is being injected into the database.

6- Create secure passwords

The longer the password is, the more secure it is. That is unless your definition of a long, robust password is 1234567890. Set up a secure and unique password for your website server. Do not give the admin login credentials to anyone and avoid saving them on any web browser. If possible, use a password management tool. Keep changing the passwords from time to time.
