How to connect iPad to a Wi-Fi Network?

  1. Open the Settings app in the iPad.
  2. Tap in Wi-Fi in the right menu.
  3. Now, find the Network name or SSID of the wireless network you need to connect to. Under Choose a Network, select “Other.”
  4. Wait for the Other Network prompt to appear.
  5. Now, in the Other Network prompt, you need to enter the Network’s name and other settings necessary for you to join the network.
  6. In the Name blank, you can either fill in the Name or SSID.
  7. After that, press the Security button.
  8. In the Enter network information: Security screen, choose the security encryption such as WPA or WEP/ Choose the right encryption option if you want to connect to the network.
  9. Tap on Other Network.
  10. Now, enter the Wi-Fi password in the Other Network screen.
  11. Tap on Join. Your iPad will now attempt to connect to the network. Verify whether the internet is working or not.
