How to Install Kodi on your Amazon Fire Stick

Over the time, Kodi has slowly yet steadily created an impression on anybody who wished to share media across the home. Kodi, formerly called Xbox Media Players, has been around for a long time. Permit Kodi on Amazon Fire Stick
  1. Power on the Amazon Fire TV.
  2. Allow the home screen to appear.
  3. Skip five tabs to the right and choose Settings.
  4. In the Settings menu, click on Applications.
  5. After that, choose Collect App Usage Data.
  6. In the crop-up box that appears, choose the Turn Off option.
  7. Hit the back button to get back to the Settings.
  8. Now, open the Device tab.
  9. In the Device, select Developer options.
  10. After that turn ADB debugging on.
  11. Now, navigate downwards and choose Apps from Unknown Sources.
  12. In the prompt that appears, hit the ON option underneath Apps from unknown sources.
  13. Now, choose Turn On.
  14. Doing this will enable the user to install apps that are not there in the Play Store, such as Kodi.
  15. Now, get back to the Amazon Fire Stick home screen by pressing either the Back or the Home button.
Install the Downloader Application
  1. You need to open the Search option. Its icon looks like a magnifying lens and is located at the top left-hand corner.
  2. In the Search box, enter downloader.
  3. From the list of search results, click on Downloader.
  4. Now the search for the app in the Play Store will begin.
  5. Now, press the Download button located in the left corner of the screen.
  6. The app will start getting downloaded to the TV.
  7. When the app gets downloaded successfully, you will get prompted. Click on the Open button.
Install Kodi
  1. When the app gets downloaded, click on the OK option when the prompt comes.
  2. Now, just hit the middle button of the remote in order to launch the on-screen keyboard.
  3. Now, you need to key in the download URL for Kodi.
  4. Enter kodi.tv in the URL box.
  5. Hit the Go button.
  6. In the following page, click on the OK button.
  7. Now, navigate the screen and locate the Android icon.
  8. Click on the Android icon.
  9. After that, choose the device.
  10. Now, Kodi will start getting downloaded on the Amazon Fire Stick.
  11. Click on the Install button located at the lower right-hand corner of the display.
  12. Now, the installation of Kodi will begin.
  13. It will just take a couple of moments for the installation to complete.
  14. Hit the Open button to launch Kodi.
